FULL SERVICE INTERIOR DESIGN

Whether renovating an existing space or embarking on a new build, Jennifer guides the client through the entire project from conception to finish. She collaborates closely with the client, the architect and the contractor to create a custom design that combines the clients’ desires and Jennifer’s unique aesthetic. 

Complete drawing packages, including 3D drawings, will be prepared to communicate the vision to the client and the team. These will include: 

  • Space Planning and Room Reconfiguration

  • Lighting Plans

  • Plumbing and Appliance Specification 

  • Cabinet Design 

  • Interior Finish Specification

  • Furniture, Window Coverings, Floor Coverings, Accessories and Art 

  • Purchasing and Installation

 

CONSTRUCTION

The principal designer, Jennifer, holds a General Contractor’s license, affording her clients the benefit of a design-build approach to remodeling, incorporating interior architecture, interior design and construction. Jennifer’s unique skills, education and credentials set her apart from the typical interior designer. Builders appreciate Jennifer’s knowledge as it contributes to quick on-site solutions and fosters great collaboration and communication between the design and building teams. 

If the client elects to use Jennifer McDowell Interiors as the contractor to implement the project, the benefit to the client will be a unified workflow from the initial concept through completion. 

Her experience as a contractor includes designing and implementing interior room reconfigurations, kitchens, bathrooms and interior surface updates.
